The Day Street Pump Station is located in the western portion of Montgomery, adjacent to the intersection of Day Street and the railroad tracks. Fed by the West Well Field, this facility has been in operation since 1943 and is responsible for more than one-third of the Montgomery Water Works' total water production. The West Well Field, comprised of 29 wells, supplies raw water to this pumping station.
